This easy 5-ingredient recipe results in a sweet, fudgy, and nutrient-rich snack! The batter can be mixed quickly in one bowl, and baked in one pan for easy cleanup. You can use peanut butter, sunflower seed butter, or any variety of nut or seed butter you prefer!
1cupvery ripe mashed bananasfrom 2 large or 3 medium bananas
1/2cupcreamy peanut butteror nut/seed butter of choice
1/4cupunsweetened cocoa or cacao powder
1tspvanilla extract
1/2-1cupsemisweet chocolate chipsoptional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
Stir together the mashed banana, nut/seed butter, cocoa, and vanilla in a large bowl, until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips, if desired.
